Artist Bio
Juanita Labine, born in Kirkland
Lake, Ontario Canada has been painting
professionally for approx. 25 years. She has sold
numerous oil paintings, fabric portraits and one of
a kind dolls both here and abroad.
Most of her pieces have been sold to private
clientele. People such as Melissa Etherage, Grant
Leiham, the Hon. Katsuke Taoke of Ishakari Japan and
well known collectors from the states have admired
and purchased her work.
She has also sold out 4 sets of limited edition
lithographic prints.
Juanita Labine's imagery is intelligent, vibrant and
sobering. It evokes the imagination by delivering
new concepts of perspective and spatial awareness
into the consciousness.
Her play on symbolism and composition is both
humorous and morbid. Her use of colour, strange and
exciting. |

words " I feel that the world in particular the
natural world which in my world is an oxymoron does a great
job of representing beauty. My job is to express my
interpretation of how I see"
Juanita Labine has been residing in Campbell River, B.C.,
Canada for the past 24 years.
